A gentle opening hole. The bottleneck in the fairway will determine the players’ view of the green for the 2nd shot. The green is raised and features a small step in the putting surface separating the front from the back.

A generous fairway is welcoming the drive, but the best approach to the green is from the right hand side close to the two fairway bunkers. For the shorter players there is a lay-up area short and right of the green.

From the elevated tee the player has to decide where to place the drive as water will play a big part of this hole. The green is well guarded and it is important to place the approach on the right side of the green as a ridge splits the green in two.

On the drive the player can choose to carry as much of the lake as confidence and ability allows in order to gain a better position for the 2nd shot. Approaching the green both woodland and several bunkers force the player to make a choice of weapon.

This short par 3 is all about finesse. The ability to judge the wind, elevation, and distance will be all important when choosing the type of shot to play. The tee is set high up in the woodland with the green below in a small valley.

Playing down hill this par 5 is of a length where many stronger players will be looking to reach the green on their 2nd shot. Approach bunkers defines the landing area for the 2nd shot and the lake next to the green demands great accuracy of the players.

A classic strategic par 4. The closer you play to the brook the easier the shot into the green is. The green is nestled closely to the woodland.

A medium length par 3. A brook flows diagonally in front of the green testing the accuracy of the players.

From the tee the player has to decide how much to gamble and bring the water into play. For the strongest of players the green might be reachable on the drive. The green has a swale running down the middle of the green putting emphasis on the accuracy.

The shortest line to the green plays close to the woodland on the left hand side of the fairway. Just short of the green a string of bunkers lies across the fairway. These bunkers will make the green seem closer and make it more difficult.

A long par 3 playing slightly uphill to a well guarded green. The emphasis from the tee must be to be straight as there are bunkers on both sides of the green. This hole sets the scene for the next two holes which will be among the most challenging.

The bottleneck is guarded by the righthand side lake and fairway bunkers. The best line into the green is from the left hand side of the fairway, but this leaves a slightly longer approach to the green.

The longest par 4 on the course. for most players the lake will not be in play from the elevated tees, but it always add a little spice with a carry across water. A string of four bunkers lines the right hand side of the fairway.

A welcomed short par 4 after a few long holes. A new landscape setting creates a more intimate hole where precision is the name of the game. Keep the tee shot well to the left to gain the best view of the green for the 2nd shot.

A great par 3 playing from tees on the hillside to a green that lies next to an environmentally protected area.

A short par 5 which is reachable in two shots for the stronger players. A generous fairway with several bunkers on the drive forces the player to have both length and accuracy from the tee in order to reach the green in two.

A long and testing hole that plays around a large lake. There is an option of playing safe on the right hand side of the hole, but for the aggressive player a drive down the left hand side of the fairway across the lake is the shortest line to the green.

Definitely not the most difficult drive on the course, but still important as the approach shot to the green needs to be precise as there are many difficult pin positions making sure that the match isn’t over until the last put is in the cup.
